"For as long as I can remember my artistic vision has been stirred and inspired by romantic dreams and notions of colourful, mysterious ancient cultures

The idea of integrating old objects into contemporary pieces of art work stimulates my imagination. The natural wear, tear. breakdown and faded gradeur of all materials have for me, an inherent beauty. I am particularly drawn to old chains, jewelry and fabrics, which I carefully select for their worn and weathered qualities. The idea of objects having had a previous history of their own, strongly appeals to me

I grew up in an artistic and somewhat eccentric family. Art in all its forms was enjoyed and poitively encouraged from an early age and I developed a fascination and love of colour, texture, shiny objects and my own unfettered imagination

I have attended many courses and workshops in both art and psychotherapy, and soon became extremely interested in studying the link between the two disciplines. This is an area I have developed over many years. I enjoy sharing my own inner world of dreams and fantasies by giving them form through the medium of creative art

Creative art and psychotherapy have played an integral part in my adult life. I have always been fascinated by the rich inner language of symbols, abstract conceptions, dreams and imagery from the subconscious. Developing such imagery by giving it form seems, to me, to be the beginning of a healing process."
